Quadrant C Students complete an in-depth analysis of an advertisement. After choosing a commercial, magazine advertisement, or billboard, the students research the product or company and the audience and evaluate the advertisement's effectiveness. |
Quadrant D Students create a small business that will operate before or after school or during lunch. To do this, they must research the needs of the students and/or staff, select a product or service, create an in-depth business plan, and create a marketing plan. After running their business, the students will reflect on their experiences, especially on the impact the visuals they chose to use and create impacted the outcome of their business. |
| Quadrant A Students create an advertisement to demonstrate understanding of one of the various techniques advertisers use to engage the public. |
Quadrant B Students choose a local event or company and create an advertisement for it that demonstrates understanding of one of the various techniques advertisers use to engage the public. Students present these advertisements to a panel of people in the advertising field for evaluation. |
